In South Korea, the police have tried again to arrest the impeached president By Yoon Suk-yeol with this official apartment.
According to the Yonhap news agency, agents of the presidential security service and the police physically clashed in front of the official residence. Later, the police were said to have started to disperse the groups of supporters of the president who had gathered in front of the official residence.
Attempts have been made to arrest Yyoon before at the beginning of this month, but her security service prevented the arrest even then.
Yoon, who was impeached in mid-December, tried to declare a state of emergency in the country on December 3. According to the opposition, it was an attempted coup.
