The Big Bang Theory star would return to the new

The Big Bang Theory universe continues to grow, even years after the series ended. In addition to the offshoot Young Sheldon and the new spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, another new series from the nerd cosmos is in the works.

So far, the first stars from the original have already been confirmed to return. Now another actress from the mother series is excited about one possible comeback of her character expressed.

Amy actress would immediately return for new The Big Bang Theory spin-off

Mayim Bialik appeared in the role of Sheldon Cooper’s future girlfriend and then wife Amy Farrah Fowler in TBBT from season 3 until the end of the series. She played her signature role again last year for the big Young Sheldon finale.

If she has her way, Bialik will also return for the new planned The Big Bang Theory spin-off series. She recently told TVLine:

I would 100% play Amy again. I have no concerns about that. I think it would be fantastic.

So far, only Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus and Brian Posehn have been hired for the planned TBBT project in their well-known original roles Stuart, Denise and Bert. The series is being developed for the streaming service Max, but has not yet received an official green light.

When does the new The Big Bang Theory series start?

As of now, the next TBBT spin-off is still in the early planning stages. Before 2026 or possibly not until 2027 We don’t expect it to start, if the project even goes into production. With Mayim Bialik, at least another attractive original star would be on board.

You can currently stream all 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory with a subscription on Netflix. There you can also find all 7 seasons of the spin-off Young Sheldon in the Flat.
