Bridge keepers at old site
Until this year, five bridges in the Province of Utrecht, including the Eembrug, were operated from a control center in Weesp. It was just outdated and therefore closed. In the future, the bridges will be operated from a power station in Nieuwegein, but that is not easily arranged. That is why there is a bridge keeper at every bridge for at least a year.
