If there were few doubts about the arrival in 2025 of a Nothing Phone 3, a leaked email confirmed that the latter would innovate on a specific point.
Nothing may be a fairly young company in the world of tech, but the firm is taking its time to refine its next big product: the Nothing Phone (3). Through a leak of information from an email from the company’s CEO, we learned that the smartphone would stand out on an innovative point: artificial intelligence. The latter would be at the very heart of the operating system and would rethink the way we use our phone.
Although no official announcement regarding the Phone (3) has been made by the firm, Carl Pei, current CEO of Nothing, recently presented several concepts for the interface of the company’s in-house operating system. Several Internet users were then able to notice that the phone presented for these concepts was neither a Nothing Phone (2) nor a Phone (2a).

What will be the design of the Nothing Phone (3)?
Several Internet users think they already have a first glimpse of the Nothing Phone (3). Indeed, Carl Pei has already presented some concepts concerning Nothing OS, the operating system that equips the company’s phones. In his various images, the CEO of the company displays three phones that do not resemble any previous smartphone from Nothing. Each of them notably has a new button located under the power button.
The first official images of the Nothing Phone (3) are not yet available. However, it is a safe bet that the company will once again take up several points already initiated by previous Nothing phones.
Starting with the Glyph system characteristic of Nothing’s smartphones. This set of LED lights is generally used by the company’s phones for notifications, camera flash or many other original features. It is therefore a safe bet that Nothing will once again take up the idea of the Glyph, but improve it with a few small new features.
What will be the characteristics of the Nothing Phone (3)?
There is currently no official information regarding the components that will equip the Nothing Phone (3). However, it is a safe bet that the company will once again choose a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm in view of the previous Nothing Phones.
The integration of a new button could however be considered by Nothing for its Phone (3). The first images of the smartphone are reminiscent of the famous “action” button initiated by Apple with theiPhone 15 Pro a few months ago. Nothing could therefore take up this idea by integrating a new button which would be entirely customizable for users.
Through an email from Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, we also learned in January 2025 that the Nothing Phone (3) would focus on artificial intelligence. The latter should “bring revolutionary innovations in user interface”.
How much will the Nothing Phone (3) cost?
Bad news: there is a good chance that the Nothing Phone (3) will not be offered at a lower price than its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2). The latter was offered from 679 euros in France with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
If Nothing wants to get involved in the high-end smartphone market again, it’s a safe bet that it will equip its next phone with a processor like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or even a potential Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. price of the Nothing Phone (3) could therefore be set above 679 euros at its launch.
When is the Nothing Phone (3) release date?
Nothing has not officially communicated on the release date of its future Phone (3). However, everything suggests that, as with its previous products, the firm decides to launch its new phone during the summer. We should therefore expect to have news of the Nothing Phone (3) by July or August 2025.
