The American YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul recently defeated the legendary Mike Tyson in the ring.
Now he has his sights set on another big sporting profile.
– I have said before that I want to meet Zlatan, he says to the Instagram account 433.
The big meeting between Jake Paul27, and Mike Tyson58, aired on Netflix and was seen by several million people worldwide. Paul, who started his career as a YouTuber and child actor, managed to defeat one of the best boxers in history. Now he is already looking for a new opponent who wants to settle against him.
Want to meet Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Jake Paul has tried to lure the UFC star Connor McGregor and Tyson Fury’s half brother Tommyto whom he already lost once. But so far he hasn’t had any pacifiers. Now he is instead looking for slightly more unexpected opponents. When Instagram account 433 (which is niched around football) caught up with Paul and asked which football player he would most like to face in the ring, the answer was obvious.
– I have said before that I want to meet Zlatan (Ibrahimovic). It would have been a good match, he says.

Obviously, Jake Paul has thought of this before anyway, because the answer came so quickly. Moreover, it was well-motivated. Maybe the American has seen what Zlatan can do because Ibrahimovic “wreaked havoc” with the entire MLS when he was at the Los Angeles Galaxy?
– He is a beast, he is tall, he is violent. I think it would have been fun. But I love him, I’m not trying to cause any trouble, says the boxer.
Zlatan was rumored to face Rooney
It is not the first time that Zlatan is rumored to be challenged to a boxing match. British tabloids wrote a couple of months ago that he would change sports and go to a match in the ring against his former clubmate in Manchester United: Wayne Rooney. As you know, Zlatan is a big fan of martial arts and he has previously trained in taekwondo, in which he also has a black belt.

However, Zlatan himself has denied that he would face Rooney in a boxing match.
– No, no. It would have been a “misfit”. He is only 120 centimeters and I am 190, he then told Expressen.
– I have heard that he is good at boxing. But if I’m going to box, I want to use my feet too, that’s what I can do, he continued.
