1. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
Italy lives up to its reputation as the world’s style nation – and their police cars are no exception. The Carabinieri, the Italian military police, patrol along Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
This model is not only beautiful, but also really fast. With a 2.9-liter V6 pumping out 510 horsepower, it’s a true rival to the BMW M3.
In fact, the engine is developed with technology from Ferrari, making it one of the world’s fastest police cars in its class.
The idea of the Carabinieri Giulior is sometimes to transport organs and escort politicians and diplomats rather than to chase the bug.

In Abu Dhabi, police car dreams come true. Here you will find a Bugatti Veyron in the police fleet – a hypercar that reaches speeds of over 400 km/h.
But it is not used to chase speeders. Instead, it acts as an ambassador for the police, often appearing at events to strengthen relations with the local population.

In the 1960s, the Italian police needed faster vehicles to catch up with the country’s criminals. The answer was the iconic Ferrari 250 GTE.
Only two examples were put into service by the police, and they were driven by the legendary sheriff Armando Spatafora. The cars soon became part of Italian police history.
One of these rare specimens was recently sold for over SEK 10 million.
