Although director Ridley Scott has never been shy about laying out his plans for the future of the Alien franchise, his prequel story, which he began with 2012’s Prometheus, fell apart by the second film. After Alien: Covenant, which was released in cinemas in 2017, it was unclear what would happen next with the space monster.
Enter Alien: Romulus. Seven years after the abrupt end of the David saga, the fight for survival in the infinite expanse of space returned in 2024. Directed by horror expert Fede Álvarez (Evil Dead, Don’t Breath), a merciless survival thriller was created that complements the Alien series successfully revived has.
