Terminally ill German buffalo worry – ‘Extremely distressing’
Terminally ill German buffalo worry – ‘Extremely distressing’
The painful animal disease foot-and-mouth disease has been discovered in northern Germany.
– It is the most contagious animal disease, says Maria Nöremark, assistant state epizootologist.
By 2 p.m., the state’s veterinary medical institution had not yet received any confirmed information from its German colleagues. So Maria Nöremark is a little cautious in commenting on the outbreak itself.
But the disease is relatively rare and heavily restricted because it is highly contagious. Among other things, it spreads with the wind, which is why facilities are blocked far and wide.
For the animals, the disease has major consequences with blisters in the mouth and on the hooves, although it is not fatal in itself.
– But it is incredibly painful, says Maria Nöremark.
The disease is not dangerous for humans, it is not contagious from animals to humans.
But the consequences will still be great. The animals at the facilities are usually euthanized to prevent the virus from spreading further.

Tiktok is in danger in the US
The US Supreme Court disagrees with Tiktok.
But a majority of the judges seem to be leaning towards banning Tiktok in the country from January 19.
This is unless the popular platform changes hands.
Tiktok’s connections to China are deemed to pose a security risk. Congress established that last year when it adopted the proposal for a ban.
Today, the issue was discussed in the Supreme Court.
The judges’ attitude indicates that they will uphold the law, according to CNN.
Tiktok’s lawyers as well as several free speech groups in the US claim that the law is a major restriction of freedom of speech.

They don’t know who hit the man. The police have started a preliminary investigation into causing the death of another, gross negligence in traffic and gross contamination from a traffic accident.

The police are now investigating whether there are cameras that may have captured parts of the sequence of events.
E20 has been closed at the scene of the accident but reopened at 8pm.
