A stampede which occurred on Friday January 10 at the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, the Syrian capital, left four dead and around fifteen injured. Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad, Friday has been a busy day, with worshipers even coming from other provinces. Aggravating circumstance this Friday, a food distribution was organized.
