“WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE A THREAT”

Making a statement together with Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden stated that some progress has been made in the last 24 hours and said, “During the night, local state and federal firefighters were able to partially prevent the spread of some fires, but winds will continue to be a threat until the beginning of next week. “We will make sure California has every resource possible to fight and survive this fire,” he said.

Noting that Los Angeles currently reminds him of a “war scene” due to the effects of the fire, Biden cited climate change as a factor that increases the severity of forest fires.

Regarding the casualties, Biden said, “It will most likely increase.” Referring to the looting incidents in the houses where people evacuated, Biden added that he was “concerned” about this issue.

HARRIS: ‘MASS DESTRUCTION’
