Stephen King adaptation is set to be much bigger than

It is not only the highest-grossing Stephen King adaptation ever, but also the most successful horror film of all time, with worldwide box office receipts of over $700 million. The horror novel, which is more than 1000 pages thick, was not only the template for It and It Chapter 2. More Stephen King horror: This is the season 3 plan for Welcome to Derry

After the two It films had already told the story of the Loser Club, the prequel series Welcome to Derry delves deeper into it the past of the fictional small town in Maine one that is haunted every 27 years by the fearsome entity called It, which, among other things, takes the form of Pennywise. There’s a reason the story is told backwards. So the 1st season is 1962, the 2nd season is 1935 and the 3rd season is 1908.

And of course a certain Pennywise has a hand in the game.

Aside from returning Bill Skarsgård, the cast of Welcome to Derry consists of new actors and characters.
