Coops call to all its customers

Fraud attempts go in waves and now it’s that time again. This time it is Coop’s customers who have fallen victim to a new wave of scams and are being warned.

Advice and Röns readers have contacted the newspaper to warn of an email that appears to be from Coop. The email states that the customer should have won a Tupperware set of 36 pieces.

To get home their “profit”, the customer is asked to click a button and pay for the shipping cost.

Coop urges customers to report scam emails

But the email is said to be a scam and wants to trick customers into their payment details.

Coop’s press department confirms for Advice and Opinion that the email is not from them and says that they usually urge customers who have been affected by scam emails to report the incidents to the police.
