“We do not have a target amount, but we have already received some nice outliers of more than 3,000 euros,” says Carlijn Speksnijder, educator at the zoo. But all bids are welcome, says Speksnijder. “It is also important that it is placed in a nice place, where many people can enjoy it.” The dinosaur is 3.5 meters high and made of rebar. The zoo has opened an auction on its website, where anyone can bid on the artwork.
