Had to go to hospital urgently

“We regret”
The pharmacy itself has apologized for the incident.
“In a stressful situation, a mistake was made and the regular routine was deviated from, which we regret,” the pharmacy manager wrote in an email to Gothenburg Post.
After the incident, the routines were reviewed internally to prevent similar situations from recurring.
Similar incidents have previously occurred, which also led to serious consequences. The newspaper The pharmaceutical world have previously reported on a case where a pharmacist mixed up two drugs so that a patient suffered life-threatening symptoms and needed to be treated in hospital for a week.
