As for Falcon, high-end business jets, 31 were delivered in 2024, compared to a forecast of 35 aircraft, and compared to 26 Falcons delivered in 2023.

Orders, on the other hand, fell from 2023 to 2024: last year, 30 Rafales were ordered, all for export, compared to 60 (42 for France and 18 for export) in 2023, and 26 Falcons, against 23 the previous year.

More than 10,000 aircraft delivered in almost a century

Once deemed unsaleable and shunned by European NATO member countries, Rafale pushed its pawns in Europe, with the announcement in August of the sale of 12 new aircraft to Serbia, the seventh foreign country to buy it. It is the third European country, a traditional customer of Russia, to have opted for the multipurpose twin-jet aircraft, after Greece which has 24 of which 12 are used, and Croatia which has purchased 12 used.

As of December 31, 2024, the order book includes 220 Rafale (164 export, 56 France) compared to 211 Rafale as of December 31, 2023, and 79 Falcon, compared to 84 a year earlier. The amount of orders taken will be announced on March 5 when the annual results are published, the group specifies.

Dassault has delivered more than 10,000 military and civilian aircraft to more than 90 countries in nearly a century, including 2,700 Falcons. In 2023, the turnover of Dassault Aviation, which has 13,500 employees, amounted to 4.8 billion euros.

At the beginning of October, the French Ministry of the Armed Forces announced that it had launched development studies for the future version of the Rafale, which will be permanently connected with other military assets engaged in an operation.
