Roger Rönnberg gets angry at the TV4 reporter live

Roger Rönnberg is a man who does not shy away from showing emotions.
After the victory against HV71, he was angry with TV4 reporter Patrik Westberg after he stepped on a sore toe.
– Come up with a better question, he says in TV4 Play’s broadcast.

It is no secret that Frölunda’s coach Roger Rönnberg53, will leave the club after the season. After almost twelve years in Gothenburg – with two SM golds and four CHL golds on his track record – he will move to the Swiss Friborg Gotteron in 2025.

Roger Rönnberg got angry

Despite the fact that it has gone half-crazy at times, Frölunda is still a top team this season as well. Right now they hold third place in the table, this after Tuesday’s overtime victory against HV71. Mikael Ruohomaa settled with his 3-2 goal in the second overtime minute.
– He’s always good in the spring, it’s been a long time, says coach Rönnberg on TV4 after the match.

Otherwise, a lot came to be about another player, who actually resides in the opposing team. When the TV4 reporter Patrick Westberg started asking questions about the HV71’s Henrik Borgström to Roger Rönnberg, the coach got angry.

Scolded Patrik Westberg

The reason is that Borgström has been frequently linked with a move to the Swiss league. According to Expressen, Friborg Gotteron, i.e. the same club that Rönnberg will take over, will also be done with a center from the SHL. When Roger Rönnberg wanted Borgström to Frölunda, before he went to HV71, there are many who suspect that the player and the coach will work together next season.

Rönnberg did not like at all that Westberg started asking about Henrik Borgström.
– It is a bit bad to bring up such things when we are talking about Frölunda and HV. Come up with a better question, says a visibly irritated Frölunda coach.

Say what you want about Roger Rönnberg, but the fact that he is a big profile for the SHL is no exaggeration. He will be missed when he leaves for Switzerland. How will you remember his time in Frölunda? Feel free to comment!
