Norfolk OPP is investigating after a school bus parked at a Main Street address in Delhi was damaged.

Police responded to the address at about 11:41 am on Jan. 5. to investigate. The incident occurred sometime overnight from Jan. 4 to 5.

Break and enter in Simcoe

Norfolk OPP is investigating a recent break and enter to a shed at a Virginia Avenue address in Simcoe.

Police say sometime between Jan. 2 and Jan. 3, a shed had been entered and a green chainsaw had been stolen.

Two face impaired driving charges

Norfolk OPP has charged two people with drinking and driving offenses following investigations into separate incidents.

The first investigation began at about 8:40 pm Friday (Jan. 3) when Norfolk OPP responded to a 911 call about a suspected impaired driver on Blueline Road.

Officers located the vehicle at a Queensway East address in Simcoe. After conducting a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

A 19-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with driving while having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.
