The care profiles determine how much money is available for your care and what you can buy for it. This is possible with a personal budget, the so-called PGB, or you can call in the care office that will arrange the care for you.
People with a care profile from the CIZ can be admitted to a nursing home if the care cannot be fully arranged at home, but the waiting lists are long. Sometimes it can take up to a year before a place is available. During this waiting period, the care is arranged at home by the Care Office. If that care is still insufficient and there are no informal carers who can assist, you are eligible for an urgent placement. That is often not where you prefer.
