In Italy, at least 20 people are missing after a boat carrying migrants capsized off the island of Lampedusa in the southern part of the country.
Seven of the passengers of the boat traveling from Libya were rescued, one of whom was a child. According to the Italian news agency ANSA, at least three of the missing migrants are children.
The Coast Guard and the police continue to search for the missing.
