Then the TV4 profile’s first offense is time-barred

The TV4 profile is suspected of some 30 sex purchases, but can escape punishment if he stays away long enough.
Now there is a battle against the clock – in a few days, his first sex purchase expires.

The TV4 profile has, according to the police’s assessment, bought sexual services since at least 2019. He is suspected of a total of 31 cases of sex purchases at Thai massage parlors in Sweden, of which he admitted to all but one.

However, when the TV4 profile was to be served with the lawsuit, he had disappeared. Neither the district court nor the police could get hold of him. Now there is an intense fight against the clock to get him charged. Due to the two-year statute of limitations for the purchase of sex, several of the crimes risk becoming statute-barred in January 2025.

On January 8, the first sex purchase he is suspected of having carried out during 2023 is time-barred. After that, the second sex purchase is time-barred on January 17, and the third on January 27.

Hunted worldwide

The hunt for the TV4 profile is now underway worldwide. The prosecutor has chosen to call for the man internationally, and states that they are working actively with the police hunt, but do not want to comment on what methods are being used to try to get hold of him.

– It is now a matter of enforcing the arrest warrant. It is urgent that we catch him, says Per Svensson, senior chamber prosecutor.

– We have information that he is abroad, continues Per Svensson without wanting to state which country it may be about.

In order to completely escape prosecution for the 31 sex purchases, he must remain in hiding until January 25, 2026, i.e. over another year.”

TV4 profile browsing history

The TV4 profile’s web history shows that he made several searches that indicate a planned escape.

“What happens if I don’t receive the service”, he asked, among other things.

At the end of September, he applied to emigrate from Sweden. He deregistered from the population register and stated that he will be moving to Ireland for over a year. Later in October, the Tax Agency granted it and expelled him from Sweden.

Two days later, the TV4 profile contacted the Tax Agency again and stated that he regretted it and wanted to register in Sweden again.
