South Korean MPs voted on Friday, December 27 to dismiss interim President Han Duck-soo, accusing him of having “actively participated in the insurrection” after his predecessor’s aborted attempt to establish martial law on December 3. December.
“Of the 192 deputies who voted, 192 voted for impeachment,” declared National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik.
