70 people missing after the sinking of the migrant ship from Morocco | News in brief

70 people are still missing after a migrant ship that left Morocco sank a week ago, the government of Mali said.

According to the government’s press release, 25 of the missing are Malians.

The ship headed from Morocco to Spain sank last Thursday. There were about 80 people on board, 11 of whom were rescued.
