Happy Gilmore 2: What is the Netflix sequel about?
In Happy Gilmore 2, Sandler returns in the role of the titular golfer, who switches from ice hockey to putting in the first film. According to Hollywood Reporter, the sequel is about his Senior tour on the golf coursewhere he once again has to deal with his rival Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald).
Original director Dennis Dugan also stars as Doug, Allen Covert and Julie Bowen as Happy’s great love Virginia Venit. Also new on board are rapper Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Nick Swardson and filmmaker Benny Safdie.
When is Happy Gilmore 2 coming to Netflix?
Netflix has Happy Gilmore 2 for 2025 announced, but no official tee date has yet been announced. Unfortunately, the original film is also not available to stream on the platform.
