The candidate must also be comfortable on Facebook to publish and schedule news, as well as the production of popular science videos.

Content writing
- Monitoring and writing news for the website.
- Make popular videos on astrophysics and space exploration lasting a few minutes, by writing a text and choosing visual content to illustrate this text.
- Write scripts for voice-overs, which will complement and popularize not very explicit videos on specific subjects or dealing with astronomical and space news.
- As a bonus :): production and / or animation of a live program on Facebook Live, Youtube and Twitch to talk about a topic of astronomy, astrophysics or space exploration / engineering, or to comment on a hot topic such as a launch of rocket, possibly with one or more guests.
Social media animation
Curation
- Find interesting videos and photos to share them every day on the Futura in the Stars Facebook page.
- Contact content creators such as astrophotographers or videographers to obtain permission to share their creations.
Required qualities
- Be passionate about astronomy, space exploration, science and the universe.
- Follow the news of these fields.
- You don’t need to be an expert with a Nobel Prize in astrophysics, but good popularization skills are required, to make content that is both fair in substance and accessible enough to the general public.
- Skills and experience in the use of social networks are a bonus, to adapt its content and reach different audiences.
- Photo and video editing and retouching skills are a big advantage.
- Graphic design skills are a bonus, for making visuals in different formats to announce events and live broadcasts for example.
