This is how Mark Levengood lives in the luxury floor

The year was 1986 when the comedian Jonas Gardell and the presenter Mark Levengood for the first time met each other. They both happened to be at Storkyrkobadet in Gamla Stan, and Gardell has written about their meeting on his account at X.

“It’s true. Mark and I met at Storkyrkobadet. I thought he was Icelandic, he thought I was crazy. But it was still love!”, wrote Gardell in the post in 2012.

Already on the first date, Gardell proposed to Mark, and in 1995 they entered into a registered partnership. In 2011, they got married, and during their relationship, Mark and Jonas had two children together – the son Amos and the daughter Olga. The couple has chosen to keep their children out of the public eye.

In January 2023, Mark and Jonas went out and announced that they had chosen to separate, but that they would continue to be married. Gardell said they were going to therapy and would see where that led. But the marriage could not be saved, and in the summer of 2023 their divorce went through.

During their marriage, the power couple lived in a several hundred square meter apartment at one of Stockholm’s most exclusive addresses – with an astonishing, mile-wide view of Stockholm’s inlet and a valuation of over 25 million kroner.

But after the divorce, Mark got something of his own – and the moving load didn’t go to a bachelor’s shelter right away. He treated himself to a four-room apartment of over 150 square meters in the cozy Gamla Stan neighborhood next to the royal palace. Today the floor is according to Boolean valued at almost SEK 16 million.

Mark’s impressive floor, dating back to the 17th century, also spans its own private floor so Mark doesn’t have to run into any nosy neighbours.

However, Mark has had a bit of bad luck in the new accommodation. In the summer of 2023, he told me about something terrible that happened in the new apartment. He got an uninvited guest in the form of a stubborn rat!

“Late yesterday a rat crept into my house, the door to the street was open. I reacted very manly, locked it in the bedroom and ran headlong. Stayed in a hotel. I HATE rats. It’s probably now in my bed enjoying itself. I dare not go back What to do????, he signed his Instagram when.

Rat or not – there’s nothing wrong with the location anyway!
