So no visible logos, overly extravagant clothing; THE quiet luxurythey were timeless pieces in neutral colors, such as white, beige, brown, black, or even gray. It was therefore necessary to invest in well-tailored classics, such as the white shirt, straight jeans or even the long coat. So there was no need to buy luxury items to adopt this trend.
This trend also relied heavily on accessories: beautiful, simple jewelry, a thin belt or even a classic bag like the Cyme by Polène, or the Half Moon by The Row.
If for years the quiet luxury was THE trend to adopt, today, it is experiencing a decline in popularity according to the Instagram account @databutmakeitfashion. Indeed, another trend is taking over. Its opposite: the loud luxury.
If the quiet luxury referred to a discreet luxury, the loud luxury is its complete opposite. Faux fur coats and hats, animal prints such as leopard, zebra or snake; this new trend is based on clothing that catches the eye and screams luxury.
If the logo patterns of luxury houses, for example, were once out of date, today they are fashionable, just like jewelry with large logos, or even bold patterns. To reproduce it, nothing could be simpler: opt for a big faux fur coat in black, brown, or even with a leopard pattern like Hailey Bieber, XXL jewelry, a rhinestone bag and, above all, don’t forget the big sunglasses ( even in winter!).
We therefore think of more flashy and flashy brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain or even Versace, opposed to the brands of quiet luxurysuch as Loro Piana, Max Mara, The Row, Ralph Lauren.
