The ViCC – Vicenza Convention Centre Of Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) is increasingly establishing itself as a highly specialized conference center and strongly connected to the territory, with a direct connection with the industrial districts of the Northeast which here find ideal spaces and services for business and networking events. Confirming the trend are the pre-closing numbers of the activities followed in 2024 by the “Event & Conference” division in the Vicenza hub of IEG: 39 highly profiled events with a number of attendances approaching 209,000.

To strengthen this identity we have decided to select the most attractive opportunities in terms of quality and interest of the proposals. Daily attendance, the average duration of appointments and the stay of exhibitors and visitors have thus increased, guaranteeing added value for IEG and for the territory. We are also moving in this direction for 2025.”
In 2024, in particular, the success of the “format” was confirmedopen house” and of hyper-specialised fairs which enhance the skills and excellence of the territories. Events such as Focus on PCB – From Design to Assembly organized by Nürnberg Messe, the first Fresatura Show, the third edition of Expo Industria, Siderweb Forum, an event that brings together the steel community, and Yed, a biennial for window and door professionals.
Alongside them, there has been no shortage of local events of great appeal, from Rally Racing Meetingthe largest annual gathering dedicated to the world of rallying (10,000 attendance), at Vicenza Comics & Games (11,970 attendance), passing through VicenzAgri (40,000 attendance) and the Free Time Fair (16,700 attendance).
The 2025 calendar will open on 8 and 9 February with the Rally Racing Meeting. The two-day event – organized by the two-time world champion Miki Biasion – will also offer spectacular performances this year, exclusive meetings with the pilots and the latest news in the sector. For next year, in addition to the events that have become fixed appointments at the ViCC, the pavilions of the IEG exhibition center will also host the Vicenza debut of Tornitura Show in June and the first edition of BIVE – Biennale Veneto Construction in November.
Appointments that will take place in a trade fair district involved in the expansion project which will lead to the construction of a new 22 thousand square meter building on two levels designed by GMP study of Hamburg. In 2025, the “phase 2” of the project, relating to the construction and inaugurated with a ceremony celebrating the laying of the first stone last 12 December, will continue with the above-ground constructions of a work which, starting from the second half of 2026, will make the Vicenza hub increasingly attractive, with direct benefit for the calendar of events organized directly by IEG and for those of the ViCC.
