NY Rangers forward Matt Rempe has received an eight-game suspension for his rough tackle on Miro Heiskane.

The elbow of the 110-kilogram and 203-centimeter Canadian colossus hit Heiskanen in the back of the head. Rempe got kicked out for his outrageous trick. Heiskanen continued the match after the hit to the head.
The hockey player, known for his hard tackles, was invited to a personal hearing by the NHL disciplinary unit, which allowed him to be banned for eight games.
Rempe, 22, received a tougher suspension from the game on Sunday because he had previous suspensions in the background. He has played 22 games in the NHL, fought six times in them, received four shower commands and a total of 95 minutes on the ice. He has collected 1+1 points.
Rempe, known as an AHL roller and mostly for fights, was recently brought up to the Manhattan hockey club when the Rangers traded Kaapo Kako to Seattle.
