Russian President Vladimir Putin warns of further “destruction” in Ukraine in retaliation for the drone attack on the Russian city of Kazan.

Russia accuses Ukraine of the attack, which, among other things, hit a luxury residential building in Kazan, around 100 miles from the front in Ukraine.

No deaths have been reported following the attack.

– Whoever it is, and no matter how much they try to destroy, they will face many times more destruction themselves and will regret what they are trying to do in our country, says Putin.

The statement came on Sunday during a televised meeting with the local leader of the Tatarstan region, where Kazan is located.

Ukraine has not commented on the attack in Kazan.

Putin has previously threatened to attack central Kiev in retaliation for Ukrainian attacks inside Russia.
