(Finance) – Amundithe first European asset manager among the top 10 operators worldwide and European leader in ETFs, announced the appointment of Cinzia Tagliabue as CEO of Amundi SGRwhile Gabriele Tavazzani (who held the role) is appointed Head of Business Development Joint-Ventures of the Amundi group.
Tagliabue, also a member of the General Management Committee of Amundi, was Head of International Partner Networks since 2022. She was previously Deputy Head of Amundi’s Partner Networks division and member of the General Management Committee since 2020, as well as CEO of Amundi in Italy since 2017. She joined Pioneer Investments in 2001 as CEO for Italy and responsible for Europe Western and Latin America. He has over 30 years of experience in financial services with UniCreditfocusing on both investment and distribution.
Gabriele Tavazzanialso a member of the Amundi Executive Committee, was CEO of Amundi SGR since 2022. He was also CEO of Amundi Austria GmbH from 2020 to 2022, having held the role of Deputy CEO since 2018. Before joining Amundi Austria GmbH, Gabriele was CEO, Chairman of the Management Board and CIO of Amundi Polska TFI SA in Poland since 2015. Previously, Gabriele was Co-General Manager and Head of Sales and Marketing of Amundi SGR from 2009. Gabriele works in the Group Crédit Agricole since 1996 and boasts over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, gained both in Italy and internationally.
