SAS plane forced to land in Paris

An SAS plane that was on its way to Arlanda outside Stockholm was forced to land in Paris on Friday evening.
– They have received an indication of smoke in the cockpit and therefore have made the decision to go down in Paris instead. It has gone completely according to plan, says Rikard Steinholtz, press spokesperson at SAS.

The plane was on its way from Málaga in Spain and was actually supposed to land in Sweden at 23.15.

Rikard Steinholtz has no information on how many people were on board, but the passengers will be allowed to get off the plane.

– As it looks now, they will have to spend the night in a hotel tonight before you can arrange a continued flight tomorrow because you have to check what is behind this, he says.
