Kaapo Kako’s first game in a Seattle jersey ended with a 1–3 loss against Chicago.
Traded to Seattle Kraken between Wednesday and Thursday night Kaapo Kako was in his new team’s lineup just one day later, when the team traveled to visit the Chicago Blackhawks.
Kako’s debut in Seattle’s jersey ended in defeat, as the home team was stronger with a score of 3–1. Teuvo Teräväinen was assisting on Chicago’s first two goals.
Kakko, who previously represented the New York Rangers, played 13 minutes and 15 seconds in the match and shot twice at the goal.
Overtime loss for Saros
Keeper Juuse Saros represented by the Nashville Predators suffered a 4–5 overtime loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Bryan Rust decided the victory for the away team, after a good minute of extra time had been played.
Saros made a total of 15 saves in the match.
