The police were alerted on Monday evening that a person had been injured in the Teleborg district in Växjö, when the police arrived at the scene they found two people, a woman in her 30s and a man, who had been shot.
Woman died in hospital
They were taken to hospital by ambulance, where the woman later died. The man was slightly injured, according to the region.

On Wednesday, one person was arrested and on Thursday, information came that another person had been arrested. According to Expressen, it is about a man in his 30s who is suspected of murder, attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. What the 16-year-old girl is suspected of is unclear.
The motive behind the act is unclear
The police did not want to say what motive might be behind the crime. According to information to Smålandsposten both the man and the woman have top jobs in Växjö and have been unpunished since before.
The police have previously stated that they work widely. A car registered in Germany is said to have been recovered from a parking lot near the crime scene a short time after the crime.
