The check was carried out by enforcers and local police officers, who were supported by specially trained sniffer dogs. These dogs are able to smell illegal substances and objects, such as weapons, drugs, fireworks and explosives, from outside. In total, around 200 garages were checked by the sniffer dogs, but nothing illegal was found.
