Claudia Pina, Fence Bonmati and Alexia Putellas scored the goals as Barcelona beat Manchester City 3–0 (1–0) in the final round of UEFA Women’s Champions League Group D.
The reigning champion Barcelona rose to 15 points with City, but won the group with a better goal difference of 26–3.
Helmarien topper by Eva Nyström and the goalkeeper Anna Tamminen represented by Hammarby ended the group stage with a 2–1 away win over St. Pölten from Austria.
Nyström played the whole match, Tamminen was on the bench this time.
At the same time, the result also means that, according to Radiosporten, Sweden has three places to qualify for the Women’s Champions League even after 2026.
