It is the British police who have taken the case to court to get access to money from the Tate family and a woman. The money has been in seven frozen bank accounts.

According to the police’s lawyer, the Tate brothers were notorious tax evaders and failed to pay tax on £21m of income from their internet-based companies between 2014 and 2022.

He and his brother are suspected in Romania of, among other things, human trafficking and money laundering. They are also suspected of other crimes in Great Britain.

At the time of the Muslim holiday Eid, a student in Gothenburg wore a traditional holiday dress to school. A teacher found the clothes inappropriate and provocative, and forced the student to change.
