There is enough snow in all four locations of the Central European Hill Week.
Although the snow line has run higher in the Alps and winters have become more unstable, the organizers of the Central European Mountain Week can breathe a sigh of relief this year.
The snow situation in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany and Innsbruck and Bischofshofen in Austria is good.
– All four locations have enough snow and we can start preparing the hills, head of the Central European Hill Week Manfred Schützenhofer said in the announcement.
The aim is to get the hills of the first three competition locations of the traditional competition tour of ski jumping organized for the 73rd time already before Christmas.
In Bischofshofen, which ends the tour, the hill will be renovated after the Christmas holidays, so that everything is ready for the race on Epiphany.
According to the release, advance sales of admission tickets have been lively.
