Watch Uldal talk about the secret behind lightning shooting – and how much faster he can get in the video above.
Martin Uldal entered the embankment at the same time as Sebastian Samuelsson in the chase start in Hochfilzen.
When Samuelsson had fired his first shot, the Norwegian was already ready and on his way.
The entire series from dropping the poles to picking them up again took 12.9 seconds – a new record.
– That can’t be right, exclaimed SVT’s expert Björn Ferry.
But it was right and ahead of this weekend’s competitions in Annecy, SVT has met the record holder.
– It is a special technique, says Uldal.
Watch the Norwegian talk about the shootout and the reactions after the feat in the player above.
