HRW Serious sexual violence in Sudans civil war women kept

Forces fighting Sudan’s civil war have committed widespread and serious sexual violence, human rights organization Human Rights Watch says in his recent report. Over the course of more than a year, the organization has documented dozens of cases in the southern parts of Sudan.

According to the report, the RSF forces and allied groups fighting in Sudan have raped numerous women and girls. Victims have been abducted and kept in slavery-like conditions, where they have been raped on a daily basis.

There has been a civil war in Sudan for almost two years.
