– The industry in countries like Germany and France must do better for it to help Sweden. Europe struggles with weak growth, says Maria Landbornsenior strategist at Danske Bank, to Today’s Industry.

The Swedish krona may weaken further
On December 19, the Riksbank is expected to lower the interest rate, and several major banks believe in another reduction in January. Many, however, are more worried about how the Swedish krona will develop in 2025. Danske Bank believes that the krona will continue to weaken and lose even more against the dollar.
– The krona will probably be weak and may become even weaker against the dollar next year. We do not believe that the krone will strengthen, says Maria Landeborn.
2025 thus looks set to be a tough year for the krona and the Swedish economy.
