At the end of November was presented Klara Hammarström as one of the 30 artists competing for the songbird in Melodifestivalen 2025. It will be Klara’s fourth time participating in SVT’s popular singing competition. This time she presents the contribution “On and On and On” written by Peter Boström, Moa “Cazzi Opeia” Carlebecker, Thomas G:son, Jimmy Johnson, Dino Medanhodzic and the artist himself.

Alexander Holtz is Klara Hammarström’s boyfriend
At the end of 2023, Klara Hammarström and the NHL player parted ways Alexander Holtz apart, after several years together. But it wasn’t long before the pair were reunited. In August 2024, the artist told us that she has found her way back to her ex-boyfriend and hockey player.
– I can confirm that me and my ex are together again. So me and Alexander Holtz, he is my boyfriend, Klara Hammarström told The Express.

Klara Hammarström’s luxury life with Alexander Holtz in Las Vegas
Alexander Holtz was traded from the New Jersey Devils to the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL this summer, and therefore now lives in Las Vegas. This means that Klara has also moved in with her boyfriend – at least partially. And the couple’s life in the US seems to be ice cream to say the least.
– We will have a hell of a house there. We have a boat and everything. Everything will be there, Klara has previously told Expressen.
Does Klara Hammarström live in the USA or Sweden?
When News24 met Klara Hammarström at Melodifestivalen’s press meeting, the artist told us about her time in Las Vegas, and about life in the USA.
– I have been there now with him for a while, but I would say that I live in Sweden. I am both with him and here at home. It’s great fun to be away with him and I’ve been away longer from Sweden than I’ve ever been. It feels like I’ve been gone forever. I enjoy being with him, and it is clear that I want to live together with him in the future. We have a great time over there.
But the USA differs from Sweden in many respects, something that Klara has noticed during her time on the other side of the Atlantic.
– You are very open in the US. You are very friendly, and best friends with everyone. That’s not how you do it here at home. They like to talk about a lot of things there. Maybe you don’t do that as a Swede, which I think is quite fun. I fit in there pretty well. Even the food is a huge difference.
– You may only have one or two friends in Sweden with whom you are very close, while over there you are friends with everyone.

Klara Hammarström: “Will celebrate in Las Vegas”
But Christmas 2024 will not be celebrated on Swedish soil, but Klara will spend it in the USA together with her boyfriend Alexander.
– I will hopefully celebrate in Las Vegas. It will be great fun. I have been here in Sweden now for a few weeks, and I will stay here for a few more weeks. Then I sneak over to Las Vegas and be there over Christmas. Then my family in Sweden gets quite a lot of time with me here now, and then my family over there also gets a lot of time with me. Then I have to come back when we run Melodifestivalen in February.
