Take a good look at this photo. For one of the candidates for the Miss France 2025 crown, the swimsuit shoot was very painful.
On a preparation trip to Ivory Coast in mid-November, the contenders for the Miss France 2025 crown, who will parade this evening on TF1, have increased their activities: visits, cultural and sporting activities, humanitarian operations, group sessions, coaching, intensive beauty workshops, catwalk classes (or the art of walking like a top model), general knowledge test and of course, the unmissable swimsuit photo shoot. Photos that are always highly anticipated, as well as criticized, which were revealed in November and will once again be part of the show this Saturday.
Several media including 20 Minutes described how the valuable session was organized. The 30 candidates for the Miss France election gathered on a dream beach bordering the splendid gardens of the Sofitel hotel in Abidjan, under the hot Ivorian sun, for this essential step before the big competition. Each was photographed wearing the swimsuit of their choice, brought back in their luggage. A way to better highlight your personality, but also to make the trip a little more eco-friendly, with fewer second-hand clothes to make and transport. The Misses, however, wore the same swimsuit for the group photo.
But this year, the shoot was not easy for the misses, as revealed in the free newspaper. Several of them suffered minor injuries. Cassiopée Rimbaud, who was elected Miss Roussillon during the year, notably began to suffer from “big cramps” behind her calf. But it was Miss Reunion who undoubtedly suffered the most from this decidedly eventful shoot.
The Réunionnaise Marine Futol, although accustomed to wild beaches, indeed experienced a little nightmare. She scratched her foot while stepping on a fish bone on the beach. And it’s probably a little more than a little injury from which the 20-year-old young woman suffered, since she finally had to be “pushed into a wheelchair to rest her bruised arch”, writes 20 Minutes. Forced to wait apart from the group for a good part of the session, she was finally able to rejoin her comrades at the last moment, with her bandage masked, time for the emblematic photo. However, certain photos provided to the press (see above) did indeed betray his little misadventure.
48 hours ago in Le Parisien, she again admitted that “it was necessary to incise. With the stitches, it is a very sensitive place, which takes time to heal”. But nothing to give up on. “It was debilitating, it made me a little sad, but I kept this glimmer of hope and resilience. And it’s getting better. I’m starting to do the workouts in heels,” she explained . The law student should indeed represent her island at Futuroscope this evening. And we hope for her without limping during the various fashion shows…
