Confidence plummets: Almost every second Norwegian has a more negative view of the royal family
Although Marius Borg Høiby is not formally part of the Norwegian royal house, the criminal charges against him have affected the entire royal family.
A survey carried out by the Norwegian television channel NRK in collaboration with the market research company Norstat shows that 45 percent of the roughly 1,000 people who answered have a more negative view of the royal family. When the same survey was conducted at the end of August, the figure was 36 percent.

However, it is not just Borg Høiby that causes more Norwegians to have a negative view of the royal house.
