After the season premiere in Gällivare last weekend, it was time for Luossavaarabacken in Kiruna to become a competition arena.
Among the competitors are three national team skaters from Kiruna, Ruben Rosenfors, Oliver Morelius and Martin Nordqvist.
– Kiruna means a lot to me and it’s fun to show off the home ground. It is absolutely one of Sweden’s best parks, says Martin Nordqvist.
The tour continues during the winter season and will visit various places around the Swedish mountains. A good chance for young talent to have the opportunity to compete for the local clubs alongside the elite.
– It’s great fun to compete and to meet the national team riders to get tips on how to get better, says Isa Lindgren Stålnacke, who competes in snowboarding in the youth class.
