Sandbox MMORPG releases video for early access – wants to prove that it has taken feedback to heart

Things have been anything but easy for the new MMO The Quinfall so far. With big plans and a limited budget, it received mixed feedback during the beta phases. Early access is scheduled to start on January 24, 2025. In this context, the developers released a new gameplay video and want to prove that they have listened to the criticism.

What was the problem with The Quinfall? Initially there were fears in the community that the game could be a scam. With big promises and a sheer volume of content and plans, the developers attracted many interested people, but also made them skeptical.

When the first beta phases arrived, the players initially breathed a sigh of relief. However, that didn’t last long as The Quinfall turned out to be a disappointment. One well-known streamer even called it “the worst MMO he’s ever played.”

In particular, the optics and controls were criticized and that the game simply didn’t feel good. Now the developers have released new material with a 21-minute video that not only shows a lot of revised gameplay, but also heralds the start of Early Access and is intended to prove that the feedback from their players is important to them.

Everything new with “Remastered Mode”

What have the developers changed? With their revision, the developers of The Quinfall have primarily addressed the problematic feel of the game. As part of a “remastered mode”, they specifically refreshed and smoothed the look and animations.

In addition, the material shows new features such as taming and breeding animals and cooperative content such as dungeons. Parts of the story and competitive PvP content are also presented. One of the biggest features of the game is the ability to build a house according to your own ideas and even build entire cities together with other players.

The video, which is around 21 minutes long, is intended to provide as comprehensive an insight as possible into the early access of the new sandbox MMO and to prove to players who have already taken part in the beta phases that the weaknesses have been worked on.

The Quinfall is supposed to offer you a huge open world with an area of around 2,016 km². In another video, the developers had already given initial insights into the different areas during the beta phase: The MMORPG The Quinfall presents its diverse world in the video – shows Viking villages and desert camps
