On Friday morning, an area of rain moves in from the west over the country. The rain can be sub-freezing and thus cause it out on the roads.
SMHI has issued a yellow warning for sudden ice slippage in the central parts of the country, from Järpen in the west to Sundsvall in the east.
Those who need to go out on the roads are asked to drive carefully and adjust their speed to the road conditions and allow more time for the journey. Public transport can also be affected with the risk of delays or canceled departures.
The warnings are valid until Saturday, when the rain turns to snow. Closest to the coast, it will probably rain during Saturday evening.
