Pokémon TCG Pocket shows its next booster pack – It’s in “Mythical Island”

The trading card game Pokémon TCG Pocket has introduced its next booster, “Mythical Island”. You can read what’s inside and what awaits you on MeinMMO.

What kind of booster is this? With “Mythical Island”, Pokémon TCG Pocket has introduced its latest booster. This means that in the future you will have a number of new cards available for games against AI and human opponents. There had already been leaks and rumors about the new expansion in advance.

What’s in it? The following content comes with the new booster “Mythical Island”:

  • 80 new cards
  • 5 new EX cards. These are particularly powerful cards in the game.
  • 5 trainer cards
  • several so-called Alt-Arts: These are cards in which the design develops across the entire card. These cards are unique, but no stronger than the normal cards. They are therefore more alternatives to normal cards.

    What was there to see? In the trailer you could see, among other things, the new “Mew ex” and “Aerodactyl ex”. We were also able to take a look at the alt arts of Dedenne, Aquana and Marshadow.

    Normal cards for “Serpifeu” and “Ignivor” were also shown, whose further developments “Serpiroyal” and “Ramoth” could get interesting cards.

    This is therefore just a taste of the 80 new cards that will be included in the new booster.

    When does the booster appear? The new “Mythical Island” booster will officially appear in the game on December 17, 2024. How big the update will be is not yet known. It is also unknown whether there will be just one booster or several.
