The start date of Chantal in Fairytale Land has now

Almost three million cinema tickets have been sold for Chantal in Fairytale Land since March, making the fantasy adventure the second most successful German film of the year (you can find out about number 1 below). Netflix subscribers will soon also be able to convince themselves of the Fack Ju Göhte spin-off, in which Jella Haase’s talkative city heroine has to deal with witches and knights.

Stream Chantal in Fairytale Land: The adventure will be added to the Netflix catalog from January

Yesterday the streaming service announced its program for January. Accordingly starts Chantal in Wonderland on January 29th on Netflix.

If you don’t want to wait that long, in addition to the usual Blu-ray offers *, the film is also available as a purchase and rental VOD from Amazon, Apple, and other providers. The fact that the film hits Netflix less than a year after its theatrical release is due to the streamer’s cooperation with the Chantal distributor Constantin, which has existed since 2023.

Jella Haare becomes a fantasy heroine in the Fack Ju Göhte spin-off

Fack Ju Göhte graduate Chantal (Jella Haase) has left school behind and now wants to gain a foothold as a make-up expert and influencer. Despite her ambitions, her number of followers is growing slowly. Luckily, her best friend Zeynep (Gizem Emre) is always by her side, no matter what challenges life throws at her.

The two unexpectedly find themselves in an adventure, when an old magic mirror draws her into a fantasy world. This new environment could be just the thing to boost Chantal’s social media career. But first she has to deal with outdated fairy tale clichés, such as marriage-mad princes and domineering kings, which she believes are outdated. In the midst of charming stable boys and cursing witches, the self-confident fairy-tale rebel must be careful not to endanger her close friendship with the now magically gifted Zeynep.
