In the gym, an athlete copied the mobile game Pokémon TCG Pocket from two other players. As he downloads it and opens his first boosters, he accomplishes something the other two failed to accomplish.

What did the athlete achieve? The athlete started playing the core aspect of the game immediately after downloading Pokémon TCG Pocket. He went to work opening several boosters. But after the first booster he drew one of the rarest cards in the game:

What kind of card is this? The golden Pikachu card has the rarest tier. With Mewtwo and Charizard there are only three such copies. The chance of having such a card in the booster is only 0.04% as a 4th card and 0.16% as a 5th card. So finding a card like this right after the first booster is an incredible feat.

However, the golden card only has a special design and the same abilities as the normal ex cards. But it still looks nice if you can present such a card in your profile.

Players are particularly jealous with their rare card

Why is this so special? It is not a given that players with a higher level have a gold card. The creator of the Reddit thread is level 26 himself and does not yet own a single gold card. MeinMMO editor Jasmin Beverungen is also already level 20 and only knows the rarest cards from pictures of other players.

What do other fans say? There are many other players in the comments who feel the same way as the thread creator. It would create a feeling of “always the others, never me.” Another user named TriggerhappyGenji said that all of his friends also drew better cards than him, even though he showed them the game.
