Utrecht should become the largest new construction location in the Netherlands with 63,000 to 75,000 homes. Necessary for the country, but especially for Utrecht, says councilor Eelco Eerenberg. “Due to the housing crisis, there are people who still live with their parents, share a home or have to wait more than ten years for social housing. Finding a home will hopefully soon become a lot easier.”
